I have been given an old indigo iMac G3 (powerPC 500MHZ 256 PC100). I
set it up as a web surfing station for customers at my Pub. My
customers mostly watch youtube.com videos on it and such. However, it
runs OS X pretty slowly. The video playback is choppy. I was hoping to
use a light linux distro to save some system resources. What would be
a ggod distro that's easy to use for everyday folks, has lots of
multimedia support, and supports PPC processors. I tried Xubuntu, but
the installer keept crashing, so I gave up on it. Any suggestions?
