Um no, actually I don't. I have it set up to use GDM and provide a
graphical login prompt. As much as I like terminal land, I don't want
to live there. Graphical lands makes a lot of thing easier and faster.
I do thank you for your suggestions as they have pointed me in the
right direction. I didn't know that the crummy task bar could be
turned off and replaced with a full blown panel. I also didn't know
that such a feature packed panel, though extremely hard to configure,
only uses about 5 MBs of RAM, while the XFCE's panel eats up 10 by
itself. iDesk is also working for me. At first, I tried fbdesk, which
a few people at Fluxbox recommended, saying it was a designed
specifically for Fluxbox and that it was the best tool for the job.
Boy were they wrong. Your icons are supposed to appear on the desktop
after all, not on your application windows. I just wish there was a
graphical way to configure it ;)
