You've posted on Linux and Godwin gave you some answers--including the wrongness of asking for private emails. You've posted on Fedoraforums and gotten answers directing you to various bash tutorials. You might want to look at the netiquette section of the list faq (it's the same FAQ for both Linux and Linux_newbies) at http://home.nyc.rr.com/computertaijutsu/linfaq.html. There's a reference there to being a help vampire. Please understand if you planning on a career in IT--and your Fedoraforum post indicates that you may be doing so--such questions will be unlikely to get answers. You are MUCH better off posting your first question, explaining what you are trying to do. Very few people are going to be willing to begin a private correspondence with you to tutor you in shell scripting. (See one of the links that Godwin gave you about asking for private help.) Try some of the links given in the Fedora forums post--I think I posted a page giving a list of good links for beginners. Even if you have no idea about shell scripting, some of those tutorials will get you started. Then, it's fine to post a question (but not ask for a private reply--that's considered quite rude to the rest of the list who might benefit and learn from your questions and answers.) Many, if not most of us, have made similar mistakes like this.
