Hey all,

I bought a surplus computer and loaded ubuntu on it for my sister,
she's on state disability. Idelivered it to her after loading many
open source games/ apps for her.

The system has been working pretty well, but she lost here toolbar
recently and couldn't run the system. So I went over to her place and
unlocked the toolbar and moved it back to the top.

I've also recommded she leave her computer on 24/7 and just turn off
the monitor.

Once we got her computer running right and her dsl running well, she
was very pleased to go online and do her banking with linux.

So I'm using office for an access database for a church group and I'm
considering creating another linux computer for a starving artist
friend of mine, she could benefit from the free software too.

I still have a server running windows server 2003, so I can use that
when necessary.

I'm also thinking about buying another surplus computer for a linux
server. Any suggestions about this?

Ron
