To me at least, the language coming from M$ executives is naught but
propaganda. It is the same language as the "glorious victories" of the
Iraqi army and the like. Announcing a win before the fight is over is no
more than the noise of those who are afraid.
Microsoft have backed themselves into a corner with products that get
more and more bloated, eat up far too many resources, and have become
more confusing to use. Their operating system was always a corruption,
and it can't be fixed- just prettied up with more unwanted "features".
Linux has M$ running scared from the tone of this article. The article
should not be answered with words, but a continuation of the same
strategy of supplying a better alternative.
