Hi to all,

I am using Mandriva xTreme2 Linux which uses Linux Kernel 2.6.** ; I
use KDE environment to login. My system config is a x86 CPU named AMD
Athlon64 1.8 GHz and a GB of RAM.

The problem is I used a rpm called Wvdial**.rpm to configure my Dial
Up Internet Connection. I have installed it successfully; I dialled by
giving the command, "wvdial <provider name>".

The first time it dialled well and i could see my phone got engaged
with the dial up internet connection which is displayed in the screen
in the phone panel.
When I dialled second time, it sends the ATZ and gets the response ACK
but it suddenly dials out. Then my connection got down. I have tried a
number of times but i could not keep it up.

I am now listing the packages that I used for wvdial:

        glibc-2.7-12mnb1.i586.rpm
        libwvstreams4.4-4.4-1mdv2008.0.i586.rpm
        libxplc0-0.3.13-3mdv2008.1.i586.rpm
        vpnd-1.1.2-1mdv2008.1.i586.rpm
        wvdial-1.60-1mdv2008.1.i586.rpm

Can any one help this?? Any ideas are welcomed.

Thanks in advance
