Well, if you're setting up an Internet cafe, you might consider hiring a consultant. Many, perhaps most, versions of Linux have GUI tools. You have to be a bit more specific, for example, what version of Linux, what desktop, etc. As it stands, we'd have to play 20 questions to give you any sort of help at all. However, if this is a commercial venture, you might be better off hiring a consultant for initial setup. Things break, as I'm sure you realize, and if you're running a business, relying on mailing lists or forums for support could be problematic. Far better to have someone on call. Your inexperience (and this is not meant to be patronizing) is another issue. For example, this first post of yours shows that you're not sure, at this point, what sort of information to give us. (You might look at the list FAQ, dated though it is, at http://home.nyc.rr.com/cmputerataijutsu/linfaq.html as it has a section on what sort of information is helpful. ) It's probably worth the investment in time and possibly money, though, as you will, once you get it running, probably have fewer problems with Linux than with Windows. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Giles: It's a trick.
