I think that all of us have agreed people should do it the way they wish
to do it--just don't be surprised if the posts are ignored by some
folks.  Interesting as your posts often are, it is often not worth the
trouble to try to figure out who said what when. 

If it were me, I'd do what I do.  :)  Which is, send and receive them
from my own machine, so that I have a working mail client. 

Yes, the yahoo thing is absolutely horrible--I tried it once.
