I believe that several Windows DVD copiers will work under Wine, but I am not sure if programs such as AnyDVD will work. Linux has libdvdcss and DVD95 the first deals with decryption and the second converts a 9 GB disk to fit on a regular DVD. I have copied disks with Linux and it worked, but think that I just used K3b.

Is there something special you need to copy a DVD to your hard drive with Linux? Or can Linux do it on its own?
