Hi folks,

I would like to have an application that performs an important job for
me, but I don't know if such a thing exists.

What I would like is to be able to test the rate of timepieces.

Does any one know of anything that's been written for such a purpose, or
someone with skills who might be interested in such a project?

I wouldn't mind learning about how to do this, as it's interesting in
and of itself, but would be needing some guidance.

On the proviso that a particular machine's oscillator is precise enough,
there would be some interest in such software in the wider clock and
watch community I'm sure.

Thanks,
Clay.
