The simple answer is "not really". If you want to dual boot, you will
now see Grub before windows with options to run Linux or Windows.
Not a huge change.
You can also install Ubuntu with "Wubi" which runs under Windows.
You will then get Windows as normal but be able to run Ubuntu also.
Suggestion: Get a 32 bit Linux so you can install Oracle XE (look it
up on technet). XE is 32 bit only and will not install under a
64 bit OS. It is the easiest Oracle install ever.
