They're lazy and imbued with the MS outlook (get it? OUTLOOK) on things.

So.... back on topic though seeing the follow up posts makes me wonder
why I bother....

The documentation for Fedora 10 is not yet up to date, which isn't
surprising as I think one person who is already extremely busy as a
developer, winds up having to do it all himself.

As per a discussion on the Fedora testing list and a buzilla report on
the doc, here is how you enable flash 10 on 64 bit firefox in Fedora 10.

Grab the rpm which is a 32 bit, from Adobe.
Note all this will either have to be done as root or with sudo.

rpm -Uvh flash-plugin-whatever

At this point, firefox won't show a plugin is installed.

yum install nspluginwrapper.{i386,x86_64}

In Fedora 10, at this point, if you open firefox, you should see that
you have the plugin and sound should be working. If you use opera you
don't even need nspluginwrapper, just installing flash will be
sufficient.

In Fedora 9, you probably need these additional steps.

yum -y install libflashsupport.
(You will probably need both .386 and x86_64. I don't have an F9
install to check, nor am I sure if the syntax
libflashsupport.{i386,x86_64} will work, because I am not sure of the
names of the rpms. (F10 no longer includes libflashsupport as it's
unnecessary.)
If it isntalls both, great, if it only installs one, then
yum search libflashsupport
and get the name of the other one (that is, if it only installed x86_64
see what they call the i386 one and get that too.)

After installing nspluginwrapper and libflashsupport, if firefox is not
showing that flash is installed then try doing

su -c 'mozilla-plugin-config -i -g- v'

(Don't know if it's necessary with F9).

That should fix it for F9 and F10 user.

After seeing the insulting follow up messages about the whole posting
thing, I repeat--if you can't answer the question, then don't tick off
the people who CAN answer it.

Anyway, good luck. The method above has been tested by several people,
in F10, and works and if the developer ever catches his breath, will be
in the release notes, which, especially with Fedora, are often important
to read. The bug report to update the release notes has been filed.

Giles: Charm bags, money spells and for cleansing one's aura.
Buffy: Okay, so how do you know if one's aura's dirty? Somebody
comen by with a finger and writes 'wash me' on it?
