I was trying for distcc (distributed compilation ) in fedora. I was not able to manage it earlier but then , with export DISTCC_HOSTS = "localhost server1" , i was able to compile Linux Source in record time of 25 minutes. Does any body know similar methods for network compilation..? What are disadvantages of distributed compilation..? I want to use it for cross compilation for ARM platform , how can i do it ...?
