You're welcome! Even though I didn't say anything... you were well

Ummm why? Don't pay a PC shop to "wipe" your hard disk... if you're
going to keep it and use it, just use it. The Linux installer
(whichever distro you choose) will give you the option of formatting
it completely and starting from scratch. No need to pay some guy 30
bucks an hour or more to do something the installer will do for you as
part of it's job anyway.

Dead... as far as I know. And you don't need that crap. The problem
is the whole "make it look like windows so people can get used to it".
I call BS on that. If you want to learn, then total immersion is the
way to go. and the GUI is a LOT easier to use than it was even 5
years ago. If my mom can transition from Windows to Ubuntu, anyone
can.

My dad has a Honda VTX1800C... no side-car... I really need to get a
bike. Not sure my Mrs. would ride with me though... heh...
