A swing and a miss! STREE-IKE!

There are only 1 Debian distribution.

From:
http://www.debian.org/doc/FAQ/ch-uptodate.en.html

"aptitude is the recommended package manager for Debian GNU/Linux systems."

Now if they officially recommend it why wouldn't they include it? I've never
had to manually install it, and have it on all of my Debian GNU/Linux systems.
Sure sounds like a base default package to me.

Not every vanity distro floating around out there using deb as their package
management system is Debian.

Conner MacLeod obviously runs the real deal, Debian!
