It is likely already using Linux. @ Rob: Are you on wireless with windows 7? my wifes PC likes to switch to random unsecured wireless networks despite the fact that our home network is set to default. open up your manager and switch back to your home wireless network. And if that is the solution, switching to linux would fix your issue, because it doesn't seem to have this little bug. By the way, your question is kinda entirely off topic, asking for help on a windows system on a Linux forum...???
