In Linux, and probably in Windows, you'll find that one of the favorite pastimes is blaming someone else. For example, is the bug Thunderbird's or Mint's. Report it one place and find them blaming the other unless you do something like try it on a few different distributions, e.g., Fedora, and find that the problem exists in all distributions. Even so, you might be told to take it up with each distribution's packagers. Best place to start is to search on Mint and Ubuntu forums--Mint is derived from Ubuntu, though it has many of its own features, and the Ubuntu forums are far more populated than the Mint ones. Also search Thunderbird bug reports. (and possibly Lightning's--I'm not an expert on either program.) It's certainly possible that others have experienced it, the question is, what sort of users are most likely to have done so--my first try would be Ubuntu forums, simply because there are many Ubuntu users, and Ubuntu is one of the first choices of those who are trying the switch to Linux from Windows. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6 Buffy: Ampata wasn't evil. At least, not to begin with. And...I do think she cared about you.
