I am running Centos 5.3. I am trying to edit the httpd.conf in order to configure the ServerName, ServerAdmin. I get into root with the su - command. When I use nano /ect/httpd/conf/httpd.conf command from the terminal site, nano opens with an empty file called /ect/httpd/conf/httpd.conf ready to edit. It cannot fine the file! I know the file is there because I can go to it with the File Browser under System tools. Help please. Don VE3HOL
