Oh geez. I don't do a lot of compiling on this system (it has redhat 8.0
with all the defaults) so I never realized it had gcc 3.2. Yes, I
realize it breaks stuff, I just didn't check for that. Thanks.

P.S. Haven't compiled yet, but I'm sure going to a stable gcc will work.
