1) win xp runs under bochs now

        that means that it probably won't be much harder to get it to
        run under real hardware..

2) net bsd
        if anyone feels adventurous they are welcome to test out NetBSD.
        If will either fully work just like OpenBSD does, or it will boot
        like FreeBSD all the way to exec('/sbin/init'); and then slow
        down to crawl.

        it simply has not been tested so far. the same goes for hurd.

i don't think i'll have time look into either of those soon.
