Question before buying hardware

Hi,   I am hoping not to sound too stupid by asking these questions but before I spend money on hardware I wanted to ask a few questions…..   1.       Can linux bios be configured to boot from a local disk as well as using etherboot? 2.       Is the EPIA M10000 supported by linux bios?   Thanks,   James.
