I just came across a 32-pin DIP to 32-pin PLCC adapter that might work for plugging a DOC into a motherboard with a PLCC socket for the BIOS chip.
It's the ADP-32PLCC at http://www.emutec.com/pjetadpt.html The price is $95 at http://www.embeddedtools.net/ETN_Old/promjet.htm Cheers, - Jan > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:linuxbios- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of ron minnich > Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 1:59 PM > To: Wayne Isaacs > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: current available doc > > On Tue, 15 Jun 2004, Wayne Isaacs wrote: > > > Is there still a DOC in production which plugs directly into the ROM > socket? > > > there is not "the" ROM socket, so your question is hard to answer.
