The DK8S2 should work without problem. We had that long time ago. What did you do to shrink the romimage size ? How did you flash the flash ?
i just changed ROM_SIZE to be 512K rather than 1024K. i flashed it with a universal device programmer from BP microsystems (this has worked fine for other bios releases). i have been using a serial cable that works fine for other kernel debugging.
