Not to be a pain, but to clarify, that's a PLCC package. QFP looks like this: PQFP (Plastic Quad Flat Pack) http://www.lsilogic.com/images/lsi2004/products/asic/packaging/pqfp.jpg http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xweb/xil_publications_display.jsp?category=-19181 TQFP (Thin QFP) http://www.lsilogic.com/images/lsi2004/products/asic/packaging/tqfp.jpg http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xweb/xil_publications_display.jsp?category=-19186 VQFP (Very Thin QFP) http://www.xilinx.com/xlnx/xweb/xil_publications_display.jsp?category=-19173 PLCC has J-shaped leads ending under the black plastic while the QFPs have "gull-wing" leads that point away from the package. Flash ROM usually is DIP, PLCC or TSOP. All these package acronyms will get to you. :) //Peter _______________________________________________ Linuxbios mailing list Linuxbios@clustermatic.org http://www.clustermatic.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxbios
