Alright, I need some help. I created the CRAMFS and a
kernel which should support it. I did create the /dev
files on the CRAMFS and the system seems to boot, but
ends abruptly with:

INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5
minutes
INIT: Id "2" respawning too fast: disabled for 5
minutes
INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel

I suspect I am booting the root partition (CRAMFS),
but something is wrong with my image. Ollie, could you
send me a dd of the file system you used to generate
the CRAMFS image? My email is [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I did create a file system (hda2) that is used to
generate the CRAMFS. It has the /dev entries, but I'm
unclear as to how /dev/nftla1 knows where to find the
file system. When I run the nftl_format command it
does touch /dev/nftla1 I think. Should I use cpio to
copy this file from the /dev that is actually mounted
when I do the burn to the DoC or is ok to just use
MAKEDEV?

Thanks,
Greg
