No, I was writing dimms_read() as a replacement for the read32() used in do_ram_command(), mainly as a desperate attempt to replicate whatever v1 does that works (follow DIMMS_READ in lbv1's raminit.inc for the 440bx). read32() should work though, it does on half a dozen other boards. I'll tinker with it some more when I get a chance.
