I am going to LinuxTag with Stefan and Carsten from Forth e.V. I'm planning on havng a friend make a flyer or two about LB for the expo and for later use too. They'll be part of the LB press kit as well.
Which logos should we have on there? * Manhole Tux does anyone remember who made him and if there's a vectorized or at least high resolution rasterized version somewhere? The one on the wiki is the best me and Stefan can find. http://www.linuxbios.org/data/images/linuxbioslogo-trans.png It's not too useful. Worst case the logo will have to be remade but if there's a high-resolution version somewhere that could save time. * AMD Reading the AMD graphic usage agreement http://www2.amd.com/Agreement_Handler/1,,572_590_116,00.html?redirectURL=/gb-uk/Corporate/VirtualPressRoom/0,,51_104_572_590,00.html it says that we should not use the graphics in a manner that implies sponsorship of LinuxBIOS, but we do want to show off the companies that are contributing to the project. How does AMD, NVIDIA, MSI, Tyan, LANL/DoD and GNU want to be represented in LinuxBIOS marketing material? Could people at the respective companies ask the right person to either contact the list or me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] There are many more companies and organizations. Please tell me which ones I have omitted here. I'd like to also have logos for * Coresystems GmbH (Stefan's company) * Konsult Stuge (My company) Also, does anyone have any special points they think should go on the flyers?
