Not familiar with FILO, however if that line is supposed to be grub syntax
and there is only one drive then:
(hd0,0)/boot/grub/menu.lst
which is the first partition on the first drive.
Installing grub can be tricky, which is why the grub manual recommends
installing grub using a boot floppy.
