intel_set_mtrr for the case of ENABLE_FIXED_AND_VARIABLE_MTRRS doesn't
work correctly. I have 256M of SDRAM and it is probed as such and in
totalram correctly but I get:
Enabling cache...
Setting variable MTRR 0, base: 0MB, range: 512MB, type: WB
Setting variable MTRR 1, base: 256MB, range: 256MB, type: UC
done.
If I don't define ENABLE_FIXED_AND_VARIABLE_MTRRS the right
(simplisitic) thing is done for the variable MTRRs.
This doesn't seem to be my kernel dying problem but I am going to try
and fix it anyway. Does anyone know why it is wrong or how it has gone
un-noticed?
