Sorry, it's the sometimes mentioned half-duplex problem, I just ran into
it again today. I put our "scyld doc" into a winfast board and it never
came all the way up. moved it to a matsonic and it came up fine. Problem
was that the ethernet just stopped working after a time, and reported half
duplex. really odd.

This was 2.2.17 with patched driver.
