Hello All,
I am having trouble reading pages from the DoC when it is
plugged into the bios socket of my ASUS P3V4X motherboard. I have basic
ram init code going in the 512 bytes available as well as a copy of
Ollies DoC code. The only change being that I have removed the chipset
specific setup code at the start of the DoC code and replaced that with
code to setup the bios rom area as writable which I thought would fix
the problem!?
What do those chipset specific settings do on the SIS630?
Does anyone have any suggestions about why the commands aren't getting
to the DoC?
The code "hangs" in the loop where it is waiting for the flash ready bit
to be set.
