Maybe this should go into the FAQ after all the confusion over the 
references to DOC 2001 and 24, 32, 128MB Millennium devices that don't 
exist. :-)

The 8MB DOC Millennium (referred to occasionally in the mail list as DOC 
2001) is the only DOC device that can be used as a LinuxBIOS boot device 
until you can get your hands on the 16MB version. The DOC 2000 devices 
and DOC-DIMM do not have the required 512-byte, auto-loading, 
programmable boot page cache for IPL data for booting since M-Sys makes 
these with an IPL in ROM.
