sisfb does not work here as does for many people out there. take
a look at the xpert mailing list archive (www.xfree86.org) and look
for sis 630. People only get this think working with a vesa fb driver
from the linux kernel (sisfb is broken) and fbdev driver from x.
The problem seems to be that the fb drivers does not initalize the
lcd display correctly. vesa does.
