Maybe I should look around for one of those, given that chipsets power up with PCI already functioning having a debug port you can take from board to board could be very handy. Ouch debugging through a PCI->ISA bridge with a superio on the other side. I can certainly feel your pain. What bus does the SiS 550 use for a flash chip. I can't imagine not supporting either ISA or LPC to connect a commodity flash chip to. Eric
