Does any one know of any bootloaders that drive the hardware directly. For things like floppies, or harddrives? After my success with reusing memtest86, and etherboot I wonder if there are any other similiar things we could easily reuse, without a lot of effort. For the complicated case we definentily need to build a bootloader on top of the linux kernel but for the simpler case I can definetily see the value in something smaller. Eric
