I haven't been able to get the second cpu legitamently working under linuxBIOS yet but I am very close. I have tracked the reset issues that I suspected were causing me problems, and I have warm reboot working under linuxBIOS now. We don't really have any code to handle a warm reboot, so I'm pretty certain all of the devices don't get reset appropriately however since I don't have any devices in in a bad state that isn't a problem :) Now that I have warm reboots working I have succeeded in warm rebooting from the old bios into linuxBIOS and in that case the second cpu starts up. So it now just a matter of playing what is different to see what I'm missing. I'm so glad I'm not running on a DOC millenium right now :) Eric
