I am very interested in the possibilities to use xDSL modem with linuxbios. There is a lot of work aleady done in linuxbios since the Ethernet card will be initialiased. After since the protocol is PPPoE for many ADSL modem, it quite a standard.
Does someone is working in this kind of things in the Linuxbios team ?
The possibility to access internet zone directly after a boot of 10 sec max could open many possibilities. In fact, it would allow to make real NC form standard PC hardware (simplified since can be diskless with only a big RAM).
Even if have have been working with Java recently, i have a strong experience in C. I would be interested to see in which extend I could bring you some help.
