There has never been a problem with the enabling the L2 cache. You have
to set a few things up so that the Athlon will cache your memory. For
the SiS730 it should currently work fine.
Unfortunantely the documentation on how to do this is only readily
available under an NDA from AMD, so most of us that know how to set it
up cannot write or contribute the code.
