K7 support for the PC Chips m810LMR is now back. I have just committed it. Here are sample messages for bootup for the supported SDRAM configurations.

All this was worked out from a user-mode Linux program, and tested from a similar user-mode Linux program. That code was then ported into LinuxBIOS. Second, a note in the code: // see the explanation in freebios/util/k7msr for how this code was // created. Short form: NO NDA material was used to create this code. // Go sue somebody else. So SiS 730 users: you are now back on the air. I really like these K7+730 combos. Peppy! Only remaining problem: from 2.4.3. to 2.4.7 something broke on both 630 and 730 support for X; it no longer works on 2.4.7. Ron
