Can you repeat this with .17rc1 ?
Without people testing release candidates, we just end up with
"another buggy point release".

Well, .17 is the first *real* Marcelo release (given that .16 was a
rush-release to fix the corrupt-on-umount bug), so things should
get a lot better 8-)
