Title: RE: ASUS TX97-E with 430TX
Hi,
I think I might have confused people.
I have a 1 Mbit Bios eeprom and will have the linux kernel on a 64 Mbyte Compact Flash sitting on
an ide connector, no VGA , just tty console access.

Was that a 512K bit eeprom?

we just booted LinuxBIOS from 512K compact flash through serial console and access the ide drive on our Mitac MSC 3675/440bx

Thanks,

Don't bother for the moment,  I'll try and set something up in my copy
of the freebios tree first.  I don't want VGA support, just tty console
and access to the ide drive to boot from Compact Flash.
Is this doable in 1 Mbit flash?
