O.k. I now have mkelfImage generating checksums, and elfboot.c checking them.
Of general importance is that there are two broken corner cases in the current elfboot.c where only part of a segment is overweriting linuxBIOS that I have now fixed. And with that I have finished implementing the last of the ideas I speced out in my draft ELF booting specification. So tommorrow I review all of my code and check it in... Then on my todo I have: - Do a second draft of my ELF booting specification. - Do a native port to linuxBIOS of the linux kernel. I was messing around today and I got about halfway through a native linux port allowing us to load vmlinux directly. So it doesn't look like it will be to difficult. Though acceptance might be trickier. Eric
