Yes, you mentioned this before ... but I checked that out and have some vague recollection of 1.0 missing lots of really great stuff (like networking) ..? Won't that cause you problems for all of the ppl who netboot from this project? ... would 1.0 know enough about disk geometries to boot the devices we're talking about?
