Ron, I've just read a couple of the HowTo's ... the last one was the ALI version that you did;
HOWTO/ALIM1631_M1535D ... I'm much happier with the way this works now ... its still a bit odd, but I'm beginning to see the path here ... my question tho ... with this ALi set you did; Why no frame buffer? Is that because in this ALi set the Video is onboard? .. and you couldn't find the init for it? I ask because other boards you've had up to X ... so I'm curious ... Other than that, I think my next question will be on interlinking code fragments (starting with RAM init) ... but that can wait until I've played some more, and made sure the answer isn't already around to be found ...
