doc dimm

the doc millenium bios chip is cool but i wonder, theres a doc dimm, please forgive me my mind is not with me and its been a little while but isnt dimm a ram in pcs? then if so could this be plugged into that port and used as a rom chip similar to doc bios but with more capacity?
