Using VMware to debug BIOS?

Then it may need virtuallization layer like the real HW.

For AMD opteron platform, I can use SimNow to debug LinuxBIOS,
including RAM initializaition....

Also the LinuxBIOS rely on serial port, there is pipe in SimNow to
direct the serial port output....
