Is there any way through linuxconf to set the subnetmask for IP Aliases, like x.x.x.x subnet 255.555.255.224. Linuxconf sets the netmask to 255.555.255.0 no matter what the netmask of the eth0 is. I can set them up through rc.local , and add the route, but everytime I 'activate changes' in linuxconf it deletes all the aliases. I am using linuxconf 1.12 rev5 and Redhat 5.1 Thanks Hosttech Inc. http://www.hosttech.com Total E-Commerce and Internet Solutions.
