Linuxconf 1.12 stores its information the same way as 1.10. The changes
that might affect you are

1.12 is more modular. Make sure that the modules you need are
enabled. The rpm version of 1.12 will enable a bunch of modules
based on the various config files you have, so things should
        be automated.

sendmail support was enhanced since 1.10r7. Your configuration
should work the same, but this is nevertheless a place to check.

On 1.12r7, the html mode is disabled by default. Visit
"networking/linuxconf network acccess" and click the
check box if you need that.

User account management is changed a bit. The post-create and
pre-delete script still exist, but other scripts are supplied
when deleting an account so you can archive, erase or leave
the user account data in place when you remove an account.

I must admit that 1.10r7 is pretty far away. I do not expect much problem
though. A good idea would be to upgrade to 1.12r7 to get a feel for the
new features. Upgrade a workstation with the same distribution as the
server, play with it and reboot and check it out.

Have fun!
