yes! i think that would be great!
then you can forget cabaret, and other fs tools to
mount/umount (i personally don't use them, but i heard
cabaret is real good - maybe we can stole some ideas from
it)

that would be great for floppy for example, to a single user
mount it through linuxconf, or a CDROM too. maybe only for
removable media, that it's common mount/umount frequently.
