maybe, you're a little confused.
this new "treemenu" thing was put on the 1.12r5 i think...
and it's there on the last release.
this treemenu really improved the Linuxconf layout (IMO)

no.
rh just takes out the "other distributions" related code and
disable the askrunlevel boot action. (jacques told me &:) )
